Popular as a part of urban streetwear, a snapback has a flat brim and an adjustable strap for closure which snaps together. It has a pre-shaped, hard front panel, which gives it a high-dome and makes a custom design very visible.

Trucker Caps

Trucker caps have panels crafted from plastic mesh. This wide, open mesh makes the cap more breathable and ideal for hot weather, sports headwear and outdoor activities. Some trucker caps also come with a foam front, which acts as a sweat guard.

2D Embroidery

2D Embroidery is a popular embellishment option where the decorative stitch is applied directly to your cap fabric creating a flat design.

About Custom Caps

1. What material are custom caps made from?

Custom caps can be made from cotton, cotton blend, spandex, canvas, jersey mesh, acrylic blends, and moisture-wicking fabrics, depending on your requirements. We ensure that the fabrics have been reactive dyed so that there is no color bleeding.

2. What do you mean by 5-panel caps, 6-panel caps, and 7-panel caps?

Panels refer to the different pieces of fabric that are sewn together to make up the top of the cap.

5-panel caps: 5-panel caps are created from a single panel of fabric that is folded to match the shape of the cap, with a small line of stitching at the top of the cap. 5-panel caps work well when you want a large logo to be printed or a detailed embroidered design in the front of the cap.

6-panel caps: In a 6-panel cap, there are six triangular panels that are sewn together to form a round shape. This cap has a seam running down the middle of the front of the cap. The 6-panel caps have a rounded and clean finish, but some people do not prefer the middle seam.

7-panel caps: In a 7-panel cap, the front of the cap is split in split into three panels, with 2 triangles on the top and one large central panel. This style gives a retro look to the cap and is popular for adding leather or woven patches on the front.

3. What are low, medium, and high profile caps?

Cap/Hat profile refers to the height of the crown on the front of the cap, above the brim.

Low-profile caps have shallow crowns of around 2-3 inches. The brim of the cap when pulled down, will rest on the forehead of the wearer.

Medium-profile caps have a crown height of 3-4 inches. When the cap is pulled down, the brim will reach the top of the brow of the wearer.

High-profile caps have more than 4 inches of crown height. These caps reach the wearer’s eyes if pulled down tight.

4. What is the difference between snapback and strapback caps?

With snapback closure, the wearer can close the back of a cap and adjust the size by pressing 2 strips of plastic together, one lined with raised nubs, the other with holes to fit the nubs. The snapback closure allows for better size adjustment for the wearer.

Strapback closure caps have fabric or leather straps in the back of the hat that allows for adjustable sizing. Sliding buckle and Velcro straps are two types of strapback closure caps.

5. What sizes do you offer custom caps in?

We make caps ranging from 55-60 cm for adults and 48-55 inches for children. If you have a custom size requirement, do let us know.
